21st CENTURY KILT PIN
The exclusive 21st Century Kilts lightning Bolt kilt pin is gifted with every 21st Century Kilt purchased. We do not sell the basic pin separately in an attempt to protect the brand, making sure the pin is not worn with inferior and often imported kilts. The kilt pin is also available silver plated (see price list) or solid silver (POA). The pin symbolises the lightning evolution of the kilt into the 21st Century.

POCKETS
Wearing kilts throughout his life, Howie noticed as kilt wearers do that there are no pockets.

Looking back at the ancient kilt, pleated by the wearer with large over-laps of fabric at the sides and over the shoulder the early kilts had many hid-den pockets. Again 21st Century Kilts is pioneering the radical evolution giving todays' kilt wearers far more options.

BACK PERMANENT
Putting pockets on the back of the kilt was just practical, these can be used to hold wallets, water bottles, pda's and mobile phones.
Back pockets are available on made to measure kilts and should be requested at the time of ordering.

It is unusual to be able to order matching pockets after the original order has been fulfilled as even the slightest change in the weave or yarn colour could be apparent.

FRONT DETACHABLE
The front pockets do make the kilt even more wearable on an everyday level although do change the principal look of the front of the kilt. Our forefront mission is to make our kilts as functional as possible for our clientele.

These pockets are removeable for more formal wear with a sporran if desired and interchangeable for repeat customers. The Kilt is fitted with a button on the front and heavy duty Velcro on the inside. Two pockets are recommended for better
balance.

SOCKS

GARTER FLASHES
A garter with a flash of material is worn for formal wear. Available in the same fabric as your kilt or self coloured.

FOOTWEAR
Formal or casual, anything goes; flip flops, trainers/ sneakers, baseball boots, boots. For smarter occasions any black shoe or ankle boot will work. We would love to offer these options. For now, all we can offer are traditional ghillie brogue shoe. Only worn for black tie, with a sporran.

We recommend the socks are pushed down for casual wear and worn up for formal, usually when a tie is worn.
