When you are being measured stand straight, look forward with your feet together.

Waist

Men’s - measure in line with the hip bones and not too firm. This is the actual waist - slightly higher than where trousers usually sit. The measurement for a TFCK is usually a little larger than your trouser size.
Women's - measure around the point on the body where you want the kilt to sit.

Seat

Men’s - take this measurement firmly but not tightly, and care should be taken that the seat measure ment is taken over the widest part of the hips.
Women's - take this measurement easily. The seat measure must be taken over the widest part of the hips, this could be around the tummy or around the top of the thighs, but it must be around the widest part.

Length

Men’s - take length measurement from THE ACTUAL WAIST. The top of the tape should sit on the hip bone then measure down to the top of the knee cap. If you wish to wear the kilt longer than to the top of the knee cap, then measure accordingly, and be sure to advise us of this or the length may be queried.
Women's - measure from point on body where you want kilt to sit to lrngth preferred.

Height
